Description: The Board of UMFWO is the governing body for the philanthropic corporation that serves the West Ohio Conference.

Focused Priorities:  The Board is focused on establishing best practices in foundation operations and governance and in the future will be more involved in grant making when there are sufficient funds for that purpose.

Desired experiences/skills:  Currently the board is seeking estate planning professionals. A background in nonprofit operations or governance, foundations, financial planning, grant making or fundraising are other desirable skill sets.

Time commitment:  Board members attend quarterly meetings and the meetings of one or more committees to which each member is assigned. 

Meetings:  Meetings are taking place in person at the Conference Office or via Zoom.
